David Aston

Major Projects / Sustaining Capital

David has over thirty five years of experience managing major projects and programs of work both in Australia and internationally. His development and delivery expertise spans across resources and energy environments, including nickel, mineral sands, alumina, hydrocarbons and iron ore, both in brownfields / sustaining capital portfolios through to major greenfields projects.


He has a proven track record having held a variety of roles including advisory, alliance contract management, project engineering, engineering management, shutdown management and project development & delivery experience, as both client and consultant/contractor, in various commercial arrangements.


Some of David’s notable achievements include:


  • Managing the delivery of the Solomon Firetail and Kings Ore Processing Facility (OPFs), a A$1.4B project
  • Establishing from the ground up, Fortescue Metal Group’s sustaining capital department, delivering annual portfolio 150 projects worth $450M across Fortescue’s mining, processing, infrastructure, rail and port assets
  • Management of Shell Malaysia’s US$500M, 300 project portfolio of offshore hydrocarbons, brownfields / sustaining capital projects
  • Leading WorleyParson’s minerals and metals Improve (sustaining capital) business in Western Australia

Joanne Yeoh

Conceptual Studies

Joanne is a qualified chemical and process engineering with over 15 years of business and process engineering experience having worked in both consulting and client side roles as well as running her own business. She has worked in a wide range of industries including hydrocarbons (LNG), mining and chemical processing in both Australia and New Zealand. 


With time spent in various office as well as site based roles ranging from leading conceptual studies to providing operational support in a brownfields environment, she has a broad understanding of all aspects of process plants and their operation allowing her to work effectively with people at all levels of an organisation.


One of Joanne’s key strengths is her objective, analytical approach to studies supported by a strong technical foundation. This combined with her ability to effectively interact with and influence both peers and superiors allows her to successfully solve complex problems whilst ensuring appropriate stakeholder support.

Nik Badrov

Construction Management

Nik is a highly experienced construction and operations manager who has been involved in the development, implementation and management of numerous complex projects within the building, maintenance and services industries both in Australia and New Zealand.


As a safety focussed, organised, detail-oriented and conscientious self-starter who is able to strategies and prioritise effectively, Nik is well equipped to calmly manage multiple projects within time and budgetary constraints.


Nik is highly regarded as a skilled listener and communicator who is able to assess client needs and convey necessary information with clarity and enthusiasm. He strongly believes in upholding the highest safety and quality standards and that works are completed correctly the first time.

Angeline Yeoh

Contract Management

Angeline is an highly capable and experienced contracts, legal, regulatory and compliance professional with tertiary qualifications in Law and Commerce. 


With experience in both the private sector as well government (in law enforcement, risk and intelligence), she has a strong working knowledge of contractual law, government policies and legislation and a demonstrated capability in establishing and administering effective, risk-managed contracts.


Angeline takes a highly organised and structured approach to contract management. Starting with understanding contract requirements to creating concise but accurate contract summaries to then establishing fit for purpose systems and processes, supported by analytical reports and structured work routines to successfully administer them.

Mathew Jones

Health, Safety, Environment and Quality HSEQ

Mathew has over 15 years’ experience as a risk management professional specialising in project business risk management throughout Australia and South East Asian region for the BPO, Mining, Maritime, Energy, Defence and Oil and Gas resource industry. 


Mathew's  experience is combined with continuous on the ground exposure requiring the delivery of qualitative risk assessments for the development of corporate strategies to mitigate risk exposure. Mathew has a Master’s degree in business continuity and a post graduate Diploma in Security and Risk management and has extensive experience in the corporate environment. Mathew has highly developed written communication expertise and excellent interpersonal skills. The diversity of roles Mathew has conducted has enabled him to develop excellent business skills to assist companies meet their business objectives.
